There is so much to see in the CBD of Sydney by foot, Art Gallery of NSW, State Library and of course the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

“Of course I like you. It’s because I like you, I don’t want to be with you. It’s a complicated emotion.” — Marlin
There is so much to see by foot in the City’s CBD. We started at our hotel at the Ibis Central and headed towards the harbour bridge and along the way we saw
– ANZAC Memorial
– St Mary’s Cathedral
– Art Gallery of NSW
– State Library of NSW
– The Royal Botanical Garden
– Sydney Opera House
– Sydney Harbour Bridge
Here are three takeaways:
- Art Gallery of NSW: We did not intent to spend as much time as we did. There was so much to see and we didn’t see it all. It is our top take away because we intent to visit again with a bit more of plan and more time so we can experience a free guided tour.
- St Mary Cathedral: was so peaceful inside, a real escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Was surprised however to see an aquatic centre underneath the the walkway to the cathedral. Defence a unique city quirk.
- State Library of NSW: By the time we reached the State library we had run out of time. However, it was home to some unquie art pieces and the original map of Australia – very interesting. Will save that for another post 🙂
